PC-based machine vision systems are becoming
more and more popular due to many factors, including fast Pentium
processors, highspeed PCI bus and more robust operating systems.
Today's machine vision applications offer higher productivity, flexibility,
reliability and capable to perform more complicated inspection tasks.
In order to provide a solution for machine vision, ADLINK has designed
a hardware solution call the 'Angelo'. The Angelo
provides the best performance to cost ratio for standard video input
(PAL/NTSC/CCIR/EIA) applications and by combining hardware and software,
from EureSys, and camera solutions from BASLER and Hitachi, a more
competitive vision package solutions is available from ADLINK.
There are four different series of frame grabber cards available
at ADLINK. The Angelo series provides 4 channels of real-time capture
and includes PMC, CompactPCI, and PCI bus models. The Picolo provides
four different model types for multiplexing image acquisition. The
Domino series supports analog industrial cameras with progressive
area scanning and the GrabLink series support digital Camera Link
standard line-scan / area-scan / color / monochrome cameras image
acquisition.

*240fps should
be base on 64-bit, 66MHz PCI bus and over 8 channels video input;
when operating in 32-bit, 33MHz PCI bus than only up to 120fps.
