Overview

Fireboard800-e™ is a fast and reliable 1394b PCI Express x1 add-in interface card for all external FireWire-enabled devices. Fireboard800-e™ is a 3-port, single chip, OHCI-compliant 1394b/FireWire® host PCI Express adapter for PC systems that provides plug 'n' play connectivity for FireWire® devices and peripherals.

•    Agere FW643 PCI Express 1394b Host Controller Link/Phy.
•    OHCI Compliant/Compatible with any FireWire device or peripheral.
•    Serial data rates: 400Mbps and 800Mbps.
•    Two (2) fully backward compatible, (1394a-2000 Fully-Compliant) Bilingual 1394b, 9 pin ports at up to 800 Megabits per second (Mbits/sec) and one (1) 1394a - 400 Mbps, 6 pin port.
